The Heart Behind Rooted Love
Rooted Love Cacao began as a heart-led ritual, a way to reconnect with the Earth and remember the ancient wisdom carried through cacao. What started as a personal practice soon grew into a collective movement: a call to slow down, feel deeply and live with intention.
Each block of cacao is a bridge between worlds, honoring the hands that cultivate it, the lands that nourish it, and the hearts that receive it. Rooted Love is more than a brand, it’s a prayer in motion, for presence, care, and connection.
Founded by Mayra Leal, Rooted Love Cacao carries the essence of her own healing journey, from self-discovery to service, from the mind to the heart.

Supporting Indigenous Farmers ~
All of our ceremonial cacao comes from Indigenous Guatemalan farmers. Supporting these farms uplifts families, communities, and Mother Earth’s sacred rainforest. We believe in putting resources back into the hands of those who have long known how to care for our lands.
Heart-Centered Connection ~
Cacao is the heart of Mother Earth. It invites us to open, soften, and experience more joy and love. When we connect through our hearts, we remember that we are all one — bound by the vibration of unconditional love.
Beyond Organic Ceremonial Cacao ~
Each cacao farm practices clean, eco-responsible farming traditions that keep our cacao truly beyond organic. Every block is handcrafted by women, carrying the divine frequency of the Mother into each cup — and into the center of our hearts.
Reciprocity with the Earth ~
Every sip of cacao is an offering — a prayer of gratitude to the Earth that nourishes us. We believe in giving as much as we receive, tending to the land and its people with care, reverence, and respect. Through conscious choices, we honor the sacred exchange that sustains all life.
A Daily Ritual for the Heart
Heat 8oz of water or plant based milk (Mayra likes to do 1/2 water and 1/2 plant based milk
Once liquid boils, set to side and add 2 tablespoons of Rooted Love Cacao
Stir in your intentions
Add a pinch of cinnamon, cardamom, rose powder, cayenne pepper and pink himalayan salt (or spices of your choice)
Add honey to taste (if desired)
Blend with love
Place cup at heart space, close your eyes, take a few slow and deep breaths, speak your intentions into your cup, savor with honor and enjoy!

They ensure that the cacao meet this quality before leaving their facilities. That's why they've implemented their own quality labs to ensure consistency from year to year. Their plantations are recognized as the best in the region. They have been awarded by the National Forest Institute (INAB) as the best agroforestry plantation.”
